How to get rid of hyperpigmentation and inflammatory lesions? Find out the expert's answer

You can read this text in 7 minutes.
Hyperpigmentation is a common aesthetic problem for many people, which has a direct impact on their well-being. In the fight against hyperpigmentation, it is necessary to pay attention to both the causes of their formation and proper care. Patience and regularity will also be necessary – it's a process that takes time.
Causes of discoloration
There are many reasons for discoloration. Dysfunction or malfunction of melanocytes, the cells that produce the natural pigment – melanin – responsible for the complexion, are the direct cause of hyperpigmentation, but not the only.
Melanin production is influenced by a variety of factors m.in. environmental, hormonal or genetic:
- solar radiation and overexposure to the sun
- taking certain medications or herbs
- skin inflammations
- hormonal changes
- genetic predisposition
- dietary vitamin deficiencies
- skin aging processes
Regardless of the cause of hyperpigmentation, the key is to protect yourself from UV radiation and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. It is responsible not only for aggravating hyperpigmentation, but also as much as 80% for visible signs of skin aging. That's why you should use a cream with SPF all year round.

Active ingredients
Salicylic acid (BHA) – has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, reducing redness and reducing excessive sebum secretion. Regular use of cosmetics with salicylic acid helps reduce the number of inflammatory lesions and blackheads closed on the skin, as well as accelerates the healing of existing pimples.
Green tea extract standardized for polyphenols with EGCG – effective against post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, soothes inflammation, reducing redness and skin irritation.
ALPAFLOR® ALP®-SEBUM – organic prebiotic from the alpine willow tree influences the normalization of sebum secretion, has a soothing effect and has a beneficial effect on the skin microbiome.
AHA Phytocomplex – a complex of natural fruit acids that gently exfoliate dead skin cells and stimulate skin regeneration. Regular use of products with a keratolytic effect contributes to the reduction of dead skin buildup and prevents clogging of hair follicle orifices, and lightens discolorations.
Gluconolactone (PHA) – works gently, mainly by exfoliating dead skin, making the skin smoother and more uniform. In addition, gluconolactone has moisturizing properties, which means that it helps maintain the right level of moisture in the skin, which is important for its elasticity and healthy appearance. It also has antioxidant properties, protecting the skin from free radical damage. Thanks to its mild effect, gluconolactone is suitable even for sensitive and irritation-prone skin.
Effects
Ms. Susanna used acne line products for 4 weeks. After this time, she also noticed the first results – a reduction in the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, a reduction in redness and a smoothing of the skin texture.

What Ms. Susanna said about her makeover?
"Discoloration disappears. The smaller ones I had before the treatment are not really noticeable anymore. I am very impressed with how the skin recovers quickly. This is a huge wow! Whatever does not appear, it disappears very quickly, prevents discoloration. I'm very happy because my skin hasn't looked so good in a long time!".
Tips from the expert
A key element in reducing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, equalizing skin tone and texture is the use of products containing active substances that exhibit exfoliating, anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. In addition, consider products that support the balance of the skin microbiome, helping to maintain a healthy skin condition. Let's also remember to properly moisturize and strengthen the skin's hydrolipid barrier during acid treatments.
