FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE is a composition of balanced active ingredients, which precisely meet the needs of skin struggling with discolouration - post-sun, acne and hormonal, as well as with imperfections, such as blackheads resulting from excessive activity of the sebaceous glands. The substances contained in the composition of FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE perfectly deal with these types of skin problems.
The niacinamide complex with stable vitamin C will provide your skin with a whitening effect, narrowing pores and regulating sebum secretion, as well as giving it a youthful, radiant glow by visibly brightening it. In addition, a complex of natural AHA 7% acids (lactic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid) will not only noticeably improve skin tone, but also smooth fine lines and unevenness by gently exfoliating dead skin cells.
Experience for yourself the precious properties of the root extract of the Punarnava plant 1.2%, which grows in the warmest regions of the Himalayas, thanks to which the serum influences pigmentation processes, evens out colour and reduces the appearance of spots. Is it possible to use the essence in the summer without the risk of developing discolouration?
If these conditions are met, there is no such risk. The essence contains 7% AHA, so it is recommended that you moisturise and regenerate the skin during the day. It can also be applied topically to lesions. You should also remember to cleanse your face thoroughly in the morning to remove any essence residue.
Can I use FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE with CATCH THE SUN bronzing drops for the face and décolleté? I want to remove blemishes and at the same time achieve an evenly tanned look.
We do not recommend using the products in combination due to the content of 7% AHA in the essence. The tan may be uneven due to the micro-exfoliating effect of the essence. To get rid of discolouration, we recommend GOOD TO C YOU, which does not contain acids and will not interfere with the action of the drops.
I understand that pregnant women should not use Focus Pigmentation Essence. What about breastfeeding women?
We advise you to wait for the first few months of breastfeeding if you have not used products with acids before, not because it is dangerous for the baby, but because the mother's skin at this time can be unpredictable. There is an increased risk of irritation, redness, itching or burning. Our essence contains 7% AHA. If you have used such products before, there should be no contraindications, but we encourage you to consult your doctor before introducing the essence to your skincare.
Should I use FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE at night or during the day? Should I apply any cream on top?
Use FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE only in the evening, on a cleansed and toned face. You can apply the essence all over your face, topically on discolourations or to the T-zone. Gently massage in a circular motion, avoiding the eye area. We recommend using a light regenerating cream, such as CERAMIDE SKIN BARRIER, on top of FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE. It is important that the product you apply on top of the essence does not contain exfoliating ingredients, such as acids or retinoids. Remember to use an SPF cream in the morning during treatment with FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE.
Can FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE be used by pregnant women?
We do not recommend the use of FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE during pregnancy due to its BHA content.
Can the skin condition get worse during the initial period of using FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE?
In the first weeks (1-2 weeks) of intensive treatment of oily and combination skin with FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE, the skin may undergo a detoxification process, reflected by an increased risk of breakouts. After this period, the frequency of breakouts and acne discolourations should be significantly reduced. So it is possible to achieve the smooth skin you have always wanted with an even tone after 4-8 weeks of using the product.
Is the form of vitamin C in FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE stable?
In FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE, as well as in the entire professional line of our products, we use stable vitamin C in the form of glucoside (combined with natural sugar glucose). Its effect is only activated during the application of the product. This is because our skin has the enzyme glucosidase, which gradually breaks down the stable connections and releases active ascorbic acid, ready for action. The product provides the skin with a fresh portion of vitamin C with each application.
Can bakuchiol (plant-based retinol) be used with vitamin C and niacinamide?
There are no contraindications to combining these ingredients.
Can FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE be used in combination with the enzymatic MATCHA POWER PEEL?
The combination of MATCHA POWER PEE with FOCUS PIGMENTATION ESSENCE may be too strong for some skin types. For dry and sensitive skin, we advise using these products separately. On the days you use MATCHA POWER PEEL, do not use the essence.
